This is my model on the final layout. I am using my Project 3 idea with just enlarge the measurement of the building. By doing this, the function of the building is also increase at the same time. This enable the building can contain more people. The function of the building still act the same as reading room with additional functions like chatting and eating corner.
Wood is a modern building material. Therefore, I have chosen Timber as the main material of the building. In fact, timber fully meets all the applicable heating, dampness, fire and noise criteria. The majority of people living in wooden houses feel more comfortable in them than in brick or concrete constructions, and furthermore, wood has many ecological, biological and economic advantages.
The skin of the building is initiated from the concept of puzzle. The skin is design with 3D effect to show its uniqueness.
Furthermore, a small balcony and a walkway are attached to the building to enable people to enjoy the view around and relax at the same time.
There are total 87 lots in the layout. The reading room will be situated at the lot as shown above. It is a place where facing forest. It is a housing area.
