In this assignment, we are required to design an interior and personal space, which is also known as one function space. The modular space is 2400mmX2400mmX2400mm. I am supposing to produce a model and sketching. However, my studio master, Encik Rusli allows my group to do the assignment by using Google Sketch Up 7. Therefore, I have learned the skills of using Google Sketch Up.
I decided to design a reading room. My design concept is based on safety, aesthetic, function and economy. Before design the interior space, I need to plan the space requirement such as anthropometric data, standard measurement and human dimension.
The main intention of designing this study room is to provide a warm and comfortable space for people to read. For instance, the study room has good ventilation system, enough lighting and free from noise disturbance.
I have analysis the reading room before started my design.
